Rachel Reinert is an award-winning, chart-topping musician who is happy to bring her immense creativity to Compass. After a successful career as the front-woman of country music act Gloriana, she is now being nourished by helping people find their new nests. Having bought her first home at age 24, she knows how rewarding the experience can be. “Participating in another’s journey is what it’s all about for me,” she says.

After growing up in Santa Ana, California, Reinert took her first trip to Nashville, Tennessee, as a teen to pursue a career in country music. At age 16, after signing a publishing deal, she moved there full-time. From there on out, Reinert achieved everything any musician could ever want: gold and platinum singles, awards, and opening slots for Taylor Swift, Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Sheryl Crow, and more. She left the band in 2016 to pursue her original dream, a solo project, which she poured her entire life savings into. Unfortunately, the critically acclaimed solo album, “Into The Blue”, was ill-timed with a release date of March 2020.

Following that heartbreak, Reinert took a lot of time to self-reflect on where she was headed and what she really wanted. It was clear that the universe was pointing her in a different direction. It was decided that real estate, still a creative industry in and of itself, was the best option. With more time on her hands during the pandemic, it was also the perfect time for her to study for her license.

“Ironically, both sides of my family are in real estate so, it felt natural right off the bat,” she muses. “Plus, the day I passed my exam I also found out that I was having my first child, which felt like a huge sign!” The shift was the impetus that she needed to lean into a second career fully.

Yet, of course, it is Reinert’s knowledge of Nashville that she believes is most beneficial to clients. Being a resident for nearly 20 years, she has a vast network and perspective on how much the landscape has changed. On her days off, Reinert and her family enjoy immersing themselves in the city in order to keep up to speed. Still, even above Reinert’s extensive knowledge of the “it” spots is her genuine desire to help others find the best home for them. Using that as her guiding principle, she is confident she can. “To see the joy on someone’s face when all is said and done is truly special,” she says.
